What RS Clan Admin and Clan_Bot store about you, and why.

Last updated: 2026-10-11

What we collect

  • Website sign-in. You sign in through Clerk, our sign-in provider. Depending on how you sign in, we receive your email address and/or your Discord identity (username and ID).
  • Discord IDs. Your Discord user ID and the ID and name of Discord servers that use Clan_Bot, so we can link a server to its clan and a user to their RuneScape account.
  • RuneScape usernames you link. When you verify with /validate or on the website, we store the link between your sign-in and your RuneScape account.
  • Public RuneScape data. For members of clans that use the service, we store data that Jagex publishes: clan rank, clan experience, and public RuneMetrics activity such as skills and Adventure Log entries.
  • Command usage. For each command run we log your Discord user ID, the server, the command name and the time.
  • Clan changes. Changes made by clan admins (for example access grants and settings) are logged with who made them.
  • Website analytics. We use Umami, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and sign-ins. It records the page, referrer, browser, device and country, not who you are.

Why we use it

To run the service: tracking citadel caps, points and promotions, deciding who can manage a clan, and keeping the bot reliable. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.

Removing your data

Run /removevalidations in Discord to unlink your RuneScape account(s). To ask for anything else to be removed, contact us on Discord.
