Quick answers to the questions we hear most.
Invite the bot to your Discord server, then run /getstarted clan_name: with your clan's exact name. You need the Manage Server permission. The introduction walks through the whole setup.
Run /validate in your clan's Discord server, or sign in on the website and verify there. You will be asked to log into three worlds in turn, so your online status must be visible. See the online status guide.
Access comes from your in-game clan rank, and only if your RuneScape account is verified and an active clan member. By default Admin is Deputy Owner and above, and Manager is the Admin rank and above.
Ask a clan Admin to change the minimum ranks or grant you access with /clanadmin access. Discord roles and server permissions do not count.
Their RuneMetrics profile must be public and the Miscellaneous event must be ticked in their in-game settings (see the Adventure Log guide). The Adventure Log only holds the latest 20 entries, so a very active player can push a cap out before it is picked up. In that case record it with /cap.
Run /setresettime with the days, hours and minutes until the next reset. You need to be a Manager or above.
Clan rosters, ranks and name changes sync every few minutes from the RuneScape clan hiscores (see Clan syncing). Each player's RuneMetrics profile is fetched on its own schedule, from every 2 hours for active players to every 14 days for players who haven't played in a month, and once a day for private profiles (see Player data updates).
Yes. Managers and Admins can download it from Data export on the website, under Clan admin: one CSV file per table (members, points, rank history, citadel, events, attendance, XP history and the clan's setup), or all of them in a .zip. Member data covers current members only. Member notes and webhook addresses are never exported. The old Google Sheets sync isn't back.
Clan_Bot is stand-alone. It doesn't need any other bot, and it doesn't depend on one.
No. The data comes from Jagex's RuneScape APIs, and Clan_Bot does not offer a public API of its own.
