Events
Schedule clan events, let members RSVP, track who came and optionally mirror everything in your Discord server's Events.
How events work
Managers create events on the Events page of the website, or with /event create in Discord. Every member of the clan can see what is coming up. Times on the website are shown in your own time zone, with the UTC time on hover. In Discord, times are entered as UTC game time (2026-03-02 20:00) or as a Discord timestamp.
RSVPs
A validated member can answer Attending, Tentative or Not attending, on the website or with the buttons under /event info. If you have several accounts in the clan, the answer applies to all of them in Discord, and you pick per account on the website. Staff viewing a clan without being a member cannot RSVP.
Attendance and points
An RSVP is a plan; attendance is what happened. After the event starts, a manager (or the member who created it) ticks who actually came on the event's page. Only attendance grants points: every active point type whose trigger is Event attendance is granted to the member. If the point type has a match text, it must equal the event's category (for example Bossing); leave it empty to grant for every event. Unticking someone takes the points back.
Syncing with Discord events
Turn on Sync with Discord events in the clan settings (an Admin setting, on the website or in /clanadmin settings). From then on, the two sides stay in step, in both directions, and the last change wins:
- Events made in ClanBot or on the website appear in your server's Events. Edits and deletes follow.
- Events made in Discord appear in ClanBot, with the creator's linked account as the host when there is one.
- Members who press Interested in Discord show as Tentative in ClanBot, if they have validated an account in the clan. An RSVP set in ClanBot is never overwritten by Discord, and the host still marks who actually attended.
- Only future events are sent to Discord, and an event that is already running keeps its start time there.
- Turning sync off stops all of this. Nothing is deleted on either side, and turning it on again catches up.
Discord permissions
ClanBot's role in your server needs the Manage Events and Create Events permissions. Servers that added ClanBot before events existed must grant these by hand in Server Settings, Roles. New invites already include them. If a permission is missing, the event shows Sync failed with the reason; fix the permission and press Retry Discord sync.
Who can do what
Everyone in the clan can see events and attendance.
Validated members can RSVP for their own accounts.
Managers (and above) create, edit and delete events, mark attendance and retry a failed Discord sync.
The host of an event can also mark its attendance, even without being a manager. They cannot edit or delete it in ClanBot.
Commands are listed in the command reference.
