Discord webhooks
Send clan activity to a Discord channel. Only clan Admins can set this up.
1. Create a webhook in Discord
In Discord, open the settings of the channel you want the posts in (Edit Channel).
Go to Integrations, then Webhooks, and choose New Webhook.
Give it a name if you like, then choose Copy Webhook URL.
Discord changes its settings screens from time to time, so the labels may differ slightly. You need the Manage Webhooks permission on that channel.
2. Add it to Clan_Bot
Run
/clanadmin webhooks. You need the Admin level.Press Add webhook and pick the type of event it should post.
Paste the webhook URL and give it a label. For an Adventure-log match webhook you also enter the text to look for.
Open the webhook from the list to send a test message, change the output format (embed, code block or plain text), deactivate or delete it.
Treat the URL like a password
Anyone with the webhook URL can post to that channel. Don't share it or paste it anywhere public. Clan_Bot only ever shows a masked version. If it leaks, delete the webhook in Discord.
Event types
Each webhook posts one type of event. Add several webhooks to cover more than one.
- Citadel cap
- Posts when a member caps at the citadel.
- Citadel visit
- Posts when a member visits the citadel.
- Citadel reset
- Posts when the citadel resets and a new tick starts.
- Member joined
- Posts when someone joins the clan.
- Member left
- Posts when someone leaves the clan.
- Member promoted
- Posts when a member is promoted in game.
- Member demoted
- Posts when a member is demoted in game.
- Name change
- Posts when a member changes their RuneScape name.
- ClanBot notices
- Service notices from ClanBot, such as an inactivity warning. If you don’t set one, notices go to your oldest webhook.
- Adventure-log match
