Online status
How to link your RuneScape account, and why your online status needs to be visible while you do it.
How verification works
/validate asks you to log into three specific worlds, one after another. After each one you press a button and Clan_Bot checks which world you are on using the RuneScape clan hiscores. That only works if your online status is visible to everyone.
- You must be on your clan's hiscores member list.
- Each step must be completed within 2 minutes of the previous one. If it runs out, start again with
/validate.
Show your online status
In game, set your Friends online status to show to everyone.
In the lobby, open the Friends tab and set Show online status to to Everybody.
Note
Once all three checks pass, your account is linked. See Getting started for the full setup.
